| Customer Reviews: Proven Principles Well Explained! August 29, 2009 Ronald Crouch (Richmond, VA) If all the greatest soccer players come from "Across the Pond" there must be something right about what they are teaching their youngsters, right? The two authors from Across the Pond share the key secret with great diagrams and drill instructions. It is "small sided practice games". This tactic breaks the game down in simpler terms. Kids get to learn the arts of ball handling and passing to the open player better than when the field is chock full of players. Well written explanation also included on the need to "let the game be the teacher." This book will help any anxious coach to relax and understand that he does not need to be telling the kids every move they should make. Just let them play and have fun says the authors. They'll figure it out thru these great small sided drills. Great advice!
